The Süddeutscher Verlag Veranstaltungen GmbH has invited us to the 28. Münchner Gefahrgut-Tage (28th Dangerous Goods Seminar in Munich) where Mr. Katona held a presentation in May 2018 on the specific Hungarian legal provisions of the transport of dangerous goods.
Further, in July 2018 our law office had the possibility to hold an all-day seminar in Vienna upon the invitation of ICC Austria titled ‘Hungary – Law and Business Operations’. Within the frames of this seminar our presentations covered topics that are of utmost interest for foreign investors such as subsidiary varieties and corporate law in Hungary, protection of investors, value added tax fraud cases among other cases of tax law, enforcement of payment orders in Hungary, employment matters, dispatching employees, and winding up an enterprise. This seminar was more of a workshop where attendees could ask questions regarding their specific legal situations therefore the presentations each turned into discussions with constructive exchange of valuable information.
Our office is proud to work tightly together with Mondaq (Business Briefing) and publish articles online regularly on up-to-date or sought after legal topics. We are proud that our article on EKÁER (electronic control system for traffic of goods on public roads) was the most read article in August 2018.
Next up, in November 2018, our legal team will hold a presentation on tax and employment matters within the frames of Advantage Austria for Austrian enterprises looking for production capacity in Hungary.
